Putting your home first

Inspections are the business. Giving back is the point.

At One Stop Shop, our core business is home inspections. That is where we generate the income that fuels our deeper mission. We reinvest a portion of it into helping elderly and underserved families through affordable home repair assistance. It is more than business, it is about giving back, and every inspection helps us reach a family who needs a safer, more comfortable place to call home.

Who walks your house

Bridgette Miller is a HUD FHA Inspector.

She runs One Stop Shop from Cedar Hill, Texas, and the inspections are done in full gear: hard hat, headlamp, goggles and a respirator for the crawlspace and the attic. Foundation, walls, roof and windows, then electrical, plumbing and HVAC, then the insulation overhead. It takes two to four hours, depending on the size and condition of the house.

The same office writes HUD FHA 203(k) work write-ups for renovation buyers and brings a mobile notary to your table.

“Valuable service being provided generally to an under served portion of the population-- the owners, in addition to be experienced, dependable and trustworthy, they have an amazing heart for the work they do.”

For all your housing needs, start with the walk-through.

Book the inspection and you get the report. A portion of the fee goes to a neighbor’s handrail or ramp. Call or text and we will find a time.
